Can I find deleted history on the computer?

The whole history in the internet files was deleted. Is there a way I can retrieve the info? I want to know what sites were visited yesterday on my computer, but my friend deleted all his searching history, and Ctrl+H usually worked, but he deleted all that too. Is there any way to find out?

Answer:
try restoring yoru computer to the day before he dlt your history. it might work. I"m nto sure of it though

Go to "Tools" then "Internet Options" and then Delete all "Cookies" and/or "Search History" This should take a while if never done.
