Confirming paypal through debit.

HSBC Debit Card not Verified?

• I deposited £1000 into my betting account, using a new HSBC debit card. The transaction was approved and I placed a £1000 bet which lost. The next day I got an email for a copy of the front and back of the card for verification purposes (which is normal) and that failure to do so will result in the deposit being voided and returned to my bank. I thought great, I wont send in verification and the money will get returned!! So I left it a couple of days and got the following email: We regret to inform you that we have voided your deposit transaction with Invoice ID ???? amounting to GBP 1000.00 due to non-completion of the deposit requirements within the given timeframe. The funds will be returned to your bank account shortly, kindly allow us some time to perform balances adjustment. Should you still wish to deposit funds into your account using the same debit card, kindly submit a new transaction and furnish us with the requirements stated in previous email. MY QUESTION IS I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE MONIES WILL BE RETURNED IN 1-2 BANK STATEMENTS TIME - IS THIS NORMAL? I recieved the following email confirming it: We refer to our recent communications in connection with your voided deposit with ID ?????. Please be informed that the amount of GBP 1000 will reflect to your account within 1-2 card statements depending on your card issuing bank. We have attached the proof of refund we have completed at our end. Thanks for your help Stuart

  So you essentially stole from this gambling website. Nice. Who knows when the money will be there? Keep checking your bank statement. But think about it: What if you HAD won and they didn't pay you ? How would that make you feel. Stop gambling. You aren't good at it.
