Is Shelton Credit a SCAM?

Is this a credit card scam?

• About a year ago, an online MMORPG game called Virtual Family Kingdom launched a special "Australian Founder's Package" which cost around $50. In addition to promising online goods (which were delivered) real life goods that were promised such as hand-made boomerangs were never delivered, despite the game company claiming the boomerangs were on a boat being shipped to the US about 6 months ago. It's become pretty apparent that they won't be sent. My question is, can they be possibly using the credit card info transmitted through the site for fraud? The company is linked to both the US in New Mexico and Florida, as well as in New South Wales in Australia. How long does it take to catch credit card scams/frauds when part of it has been transmitted overseas? Luckily I never bought a membership, but I'm worried about those who did, and want to figure out once and for all if this game is a scam.
