Which is the best Canadian credit card to take overseas?

Which credit card should i take Amex,MasterCard,Visa??I m approved for all...?

  • I stay in INDIA and frequently fly abroad.Give ur answer on all bases like,reward points,shoping offers like that all extra benefits related to the card. i can take Amex by ICICI Bank Mastercard by ICICI Bank Visa by Barclay Bank plzzzzz help me out friends...!!!

    As a business owner - I can tell you that Amex is much more consumer oriented than the rest. If you dispute a charge, they will side with you faster than Visa or MC - no question. It is harder to get approved for the card but the benefits are much higher, including travelers checks and cool extras. I think that you would be much happier with the Amex. Again, this is from experience on the OTHER side of the fence. Good luck. As to the comments that Visa and MC are more widely accepted - if you have been approved for all of them anyway, you should use the Amex as your primary and Visa when not accepted.

No AMEX! That's what'll happen... they'll ex you out in fees.. so don't believe their hype and usually have high end percentages. Good luck! @'~}

Mastercard and Visa are the most widely accepted. It doesn't matter which one, they are basically the same.

I've had them all and the only one I ever like is Amex. Don't know about travelling with it. I like the Amex with the savings account with the 5% interest.

Missouri, USA: Visa has always worked for me. No fees if used once a year. I get cash back on all of my purchases. They tally it up and send a check once a year. Although my mastcard has lower rate. no fees & no cash back. You should do a side by side comparison for all to see what they are offering you and what will benifit YOU best.
