EBay gift card question?

Hi I am just wondering I wanna buy something on eBay for like $20. The lowest the gift cards go are $25 my question is if I have money left over in my gift card say $5 then how will I add more? Like say I bought something now I have $5 but the next thing I want to buy is $10 will I have to purchase another gift card? And is this whole method safe
Answer:

gift cards may not have money added to them by law because minor may use gift cards. ebay only accepts the ebay paypal gift card but you still have to have checking account and real CC to use becuase ebay is an auction company and by law you must be 18 or older to use and paypal requires users to be 18 plus or have a parent supervised account
