How does amazon shipping work?

  • i ordered an n64 over the interwebs and ive waited for 3 days and it hasent come. i think i heard someone in the household say it just not started to ship. doesent the shipping start right after you purchise it?

    You place your order, and depending on the time of day, its either processed the same day, or if it is too late it is processed the next day (meaning actually placed and getting ready to ship). Most of the time it is either shipped the very same day, or the next one. If it is a weekend or a holiday, this could be different. Once it ships, it could take up to 2 weeks to get to you, depending on how far you live away. The further away, the longer it takes. Usually it will take at least 1 week. So be patient. And it will get there before you know it! Also on amazon, sometimes there is a "track my order" button where you can see exactly where your package is!!

No. After you purchase your item, the shipper has 3 days to get it out. So you may have to wait a week or so. If you haven't gotten it though, after you have considered the shipping time and the 3 days they have to get it out, you can contact them, usually through email, and ask what the status of your package is. By the way, I have a Nintendo64 and I love it!

Most shippers try to ship 3 days after the order. I will still take about a week to ten days for delivery unless you paid extra for faster shipping.
