  Well since it's Starbucks, they obviously want you to have an enthusiasm for coffee but BE HONEST. Since it's your first job, I would put a lot of stuff like "Although I have no job experience, I'm willing to learn and work hard on the Starbucks team." Play up any good qualities you have, such as being a hard worker and team player, etc. On the last question, if you have, I would just be honest. If you have visited a Starbucks location, just talk about how wonderful the experience was. But don't make it sound too stupid, your employer will see right through a lot of made up stuff. Somewhere on there include any good references you have and also be sure to have someone proofread your application. A lot of grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes will automatically make an employer throw out your application. If they want to interview you, be sure to be polite and professional. Don't walk in wearing jeans with a lot of holes. Make sure your hair is combed. Pretty much don't look like a thug. Also, include a hand written thank you note with your application, thanking the employer for taking their time reading your application. And if, at the interview, the employer says he doesn't think he has room for you on the Starbucks team, be nice. Don't get a bad attitude. Thank him for his time and say that if any positions open up, you would like to be considered.
