Can you checkout using google on a merchant website?

  I suggest you be very cautious about getting a merchant account through a bank. The banks usually require a minimum of sales for a certain rate. If you don’t meet those requirements your rates will go up. Having worked with a number of start-ups, I know they often overly project their sales and sometimes end up with little or no sales and with no sales the bank will usually have a minimum fee they will charge monthly. The merchant fees may seem a little high for Pay Pal but they are at least straight forward. The bank’s fees are so hard to make sense of that most small businesses are not sure what they are paying!
