Barnes and Noble gives two prices, a member price and a non member one. How do you become a member? Is it free
-
? Does being a member mean you just sign up for the free account by getting a email and password and thats all? If that is it then why is there a non member price everyone would become a member to get a discount. I'm actually not sure if I'm a member because i made an account when placing the order, so I'm a bit confused. Anyone able to clarify all this for me (also mention if you have done this before, and are you a meber your self? Why or Why Not?)

I am a member. They asked me when I bought something there if I wanted to join. They gave my daddy (because I'm only 13) if he wanted a membership card. That gives you discounts. The membership is different from getting a newsletter. When you get the newsletter, it sends you coupons for coffee and books that you get to print out from your email. A non member price would be for basically everbody who doesn't sign up. So next time, when you buy something, you can tell them that you would like a membership card, if you are over 18. If not, have a parent do it for you.

There is a $25 annual membership fee. We had one last year, but I don't think we would get one again. We didn't quite get our money back, but it all depends on how much you shop there. It sounds like the account you signed up for was just make purchases online but not to become a member. Good luck.

Its not free. Just decide how much you use them and if its enough to cover the fee then join, otherwise don't join or even just start using someone else. (Amazon is probably cheaper for most stuff anyhow).
