Ebay..how do i send a invoice of cancelling a item ?

• I hav 2 queries,and not able to find answers anywhere...so am asking YOU for help. I Am sure I Will get some answers. I Am new to ebay,My selling item got sold,before payment i got message from the buyer that he No longer wants,and wants to cancel. how do i send him a cancellation invoice for him to respond to?......plz let me know:) 2,someone purchased my selling item and then changed mind(valid reason)... How do i refund the money?? i went into my paypal acc and it says :HELD under the received payment.. i assume paypal is holding the money - so now how do i issue a refund?? Thankyou x x x

  You don't need to send them an invoice because if the person no longer wants the item, then an invoice means nothing to them. An invoice is pretty much a message with the item he bought and the price he has to pay. He no longer wants it so don't send it. Just send him a cancellation request. It's on the Resolution Center. Mark that the buyer changed their mind and wait for them to accept the cancellation request. Once he accepts it then you can relist the item and you will also get your final value fees back. Most sellers file ''non paying bidder'' disputes against bidders that don't pay, but it's your choice. For the second case, even though your payment is being held, go to PayPal, on the specific transaction page there's an option that says ''issue a refund''. I think it's on the same place where it says track the shipment.
