Does black Friday sale applies to online stores?

I was wondering if the sale applies to online stores like Walmart, Target and other common retail stores. I don't like driving to the store since its always packed and there is hardly any parking to find. I don't think I have been to a black Friday sale before. So I figure that if the price during that time is cheaper then regular sales, it would be just insane for me to even get inside and get what I want.

Sort of, but there's a day set aside for this called Cyber Monday. Its the same thing, cept on monday online :D I think. xD
