Can somebody tell me how to format a business letter to my mortgage company, (hardship letter)?

Answer:
First paragraph - Give them all the information on the mortgage. Number, names, address, amount, amount past due, etc. Second paragraph - Talk about the situation. What is the problem. Out of work, special things happened (sick, baby, disaster, higher interest made the amount too high). Third paragraph - Give them your resolution or resolutions. You need to reduce your payments and spread out the mortgage. You need to refinance the loan. You need lower interest. What ever is your solution. Give them a phone number and address. If they are local, suggest a meeting and what hours that would be possible for the meeting. You need to be realistic with your letter. Do not make your letter too optimistic or pessimistic. Be professional and sincere.
