Well, the thing is that if you are passionate, if you believe in your product, if you know all the posibilities for it to be useful to your clients.. then it makes it easier for you to sell, and easier for your client to believe. Yes, the clients will look for something that solves their OWN needs. But you have to help them to find out HOW is it that YOUR product will solve their needs. Have you ever been in a clothes store, where the attendant finds the rigth outfit for you? it's because that attendant knows the products, and have the ability to find the way to fit to your needs.

I use a genuine smile, humor and excitement to sell. I only have to work 10-12 hours a week so apparently it works well, right?

I think it is more important to know that your product or service provides value to your customers in helping them solve a problem. And even more important that you can convey the value of your product or service to your customer.

If you are not passionate about your job- regardless, you shouldn't be doing it!!! People buy different brands and quality and if you don't motivate them to buy your product, they'll go to the next doors store!
