How can I get sponsored for climbing?

I want to get sponsored to go abroad to help out orphans, how do i get sponsored...?

• I want to go abroad to help out orphans in the poorest of countries. Ive always wanted to be a mentor to kids who lack role models in their lives. Unfortunately i do not have the money to travel abroad although i really want to so that i can also get familiar with other cultures. I was thinking of asking to get sponsored by big corporations. But how do i do that??? If i write a letter to a company to ask for sponsorship who do i address it to???? I really need help. Thank you guys in advance!!

  While it is okay to approach a large company for sponsorship, you could demonstrate your serious commitment by doing your own fund raisers. Where I live a young lady has raised the money herself to go to africa for the past three summers. I would try by starting some fund raisers, collecting soda cans, organize a car wash, etc. Then let the press know what you are doing and try to get a heart warming story in the paper for free publicity. Corporations might wish to contribute just from reading the story.
