Where can I get a Starbucks application online?

Does Starbucks drug test potential employees before hiring them...What about after?

  • So here's my deal. I'm a regular customer to the Starbucks near my house. I get a hot chocolate there damn near every morning i have 3 bucks to spare. I love the dudes that work there... Haha anywayyyss, i was talking to onna them about school & moving out & such, & when i told him i don't have a job...he said i should work there...i was like I Wishh! He asked if i was serious..i was like well hell yeah...so yeah he told the manager & she gave me her buisness card & told me to fill out the application online. I've never had a job before. I have no job experience, & no clue wtf to do...Time for me to get one, & i don't give a f&ck about anyone who wants to tell me otherwise. I need to learn independance. But i need direction...lol. What do i do? It's too embarassing to ask my friends...lol & i can't ask my parents cause i'm not telling them :p ....So that leaves you lovely people. :) Uhm... Fill out the app, then call the manager & ask for an interview??? Or do i wait for her to call me? If so, why would she give me her card? So i gotta call her...right? I know a bunch of people who work there that blaze erryday, so i'm assuming they don't do random drug testing? But what about at the interview? Do they drug test? Cause that would be a problem. I smoke everyday. lol ....& If they do d-test, how long do i have to stop prior to the test? Would 2/3 weeks be enough if i currently smoke 1-3xs a day? Haha...he keeps asking me when i'm gonna work there, & i don't want to be all unappreciative about him hookin' me up & whatnot..but i gotta get some shiit straightened out so i don't f&ck up my chances, ya digg?     If you submit the application online then give the manager a call the day after you submit and ask if she had a chance to look over the application and ask if you could come in and talk to her about the job. if she says she hasnt looked at it yet then see if she calls the next day. if not you call her the next one and ask her again. if she still hasnt looked at it then sorry but she probly isnt hiring. maybe one more call then finito. if you print it out and bring it in then make a point to bring it at a time when she is there. so call before hand and ask if the manager is there. if so tell her that you wanted to drop off the application and you just wanted to make sure she was gonna be around. drop it off personally to her and tell her that your contact info is on there. make some chit chat and then ride out. once again wait a day and then call her the next day and basically the same as above. but i am sure if she gave you the card and whatnot then she will look at your application within a few days and hire you mos def. lol....then again you are not interviewing for the big corporate promotion that is going to make or break your career as a Head Master bong maker for Tiffany's glass. so you could just fill out the app and wing it after that. personally..my first job..hahah...wow...i did nothing like the above and i still got the job. i got super duper eire and made a fool of myself...but hey i gotta give you proper advice right?? remember...you dont owe this youngbuck anything.for gettin you the job. they do test. my boy works there. he quit for few weeks. he also exercised a lot and sweat a whole bunch so that helped. give it 3 weeks. if starbeezies doesnt work out you should go to the bubble T spot

they dont do drug tests is a fricking coffee shop although with the lack of memory we stoners have it might be hard for you to remember how to make everything and believe me you have to be on the ball there

What you wanna do is fill out an application and submit it. Then if no one has called you in a couple days, call back and ask if they have received the application and if they have reviewed it. If they call you, just set up an appointment time, dress well, and kill (the good way) the interview. I dont know if they drug test, but i would ask someone who works there, if they do you need about 30 days of sobriety. Any more questions feel free to email me.

I would say give it a few days, and if you haven't heard from anyone, I would call the store manager. I believe people still like it when somebody shows initiative. Remember - everybody's nervous. They expect that! But be sincere and not too casual. I work with a guy whose wife is at Starbucks headquarters. I'll ask her about online applications and drug testing. Get back to you on that!!
