In Nevada, an employer reduce salary employee wage?
-
So a coworker, who is a salary employee, was reduced in hours and pay. My understanding when I lived in a different state was a salary employee's wage never decreases. Can they decrease her wage as well as her hours?

Answer:
Any decrease in conditions has to be subject to pre-warning (certainly in UK) although the same happened to me once and I should have seriously kicked a$$ about it.

as long as it does not fall below minimum wage it is completely legal in all 50 states, there is nothing anywhere that says a salaried employee gets treated differently
