Run a business? At minimum be an overqualified office manager? There are people, often innovators, who do not have the least business sense, and desperately need someone with some. There are many positions for middle managers, I have seen some that have MBAs, they generally were considered to be people who would rise in the business, given a large enough company. I have seen people who understand how to order parts and keep that part of a business going, some of whom have been a vital part of the small business that they were attached to. Or start your own business. You will have eventually to learn to work with salespeople, engineers, talent, and other people whose core ideas and feelings are often very different from each other and from you. Just do the BA at the highest level, and that might be enough. Would an accounting minor be that strange to your degree, or would it be included in that BA?

The world "administration" will tell you the answer. It's working in management in pretty much any company out there where you can be trained. It could be in Human Resources learning that field. You could get hired as an account executive. That's got more gusto to it then just a sales rep. A lot of companies are requiring BA degrees for this because of the type of caliber rep they get out it. They pay good for it too. Well a few out there have some nerve and think they can get away with $10/hr but you'd have to be insane or starving to go to school for 4 yrs for $10/hr. Business Administration is different from Business Entrepreneurship which I don't think that's the correct term for that but it means just that. The first one is to become an executive, the 2nd one is to learn how to run your own business. You could pick that as a minor.

Use the knowledge you acquire to be your own boss. Many people with these degree's are over qualified for many positions. If you have some entrepreneur skills, and a passion to do something, go for it. You may be able to open many doors with a business degree. As time progresses you will find the opportunity that suits you. Good luck
