How to open a bank a/c in America?

I got a $1 bill from the ATM of BANK of America, how is it possible and what should i do?

• When the minimum amount to withdraw from a BOA ATM is $20 ,i got a $1 from a bank of America(BOA) ATM . It happened when it tried to withdraw $500 from an ATM of BOA AT FREMONT CALIFORNIA, i got 24 of $20 bills and one $1 bill. When i Spoke to that bank manager about this issue, he says there's nothing he can do about it.Only thing i which i can do is contact my bank and As i withdrew money from an international credit card (not American) i need to contact that bank for my remaining $19 , Where as the mistake lies in their ATM machine. And i cant keep calling my International bank which keeps me on automated phone service for more than half an hour and which would charge me about $1 a min. Not about the $19 (which is not a small amount though), but then Bank of America simply denies me of any sort of help knowing its their mistake and my self a customer of the Bank of America. I do have the receipts and the dollar bill and they do have cameras around ATM which is turning out to be simply useless.

  Looks like BOA is not tourist friendly. Apparently who ever loaded the ATM mistakenly or intentionally placed a dollar bill in the stack of twenties. The question is how are you going to prove it?
