What is the best way to become a clothes shop manager?

everyone is retail say "work your way up" but to me it just seems like the slow route, anyone help?

I got a promotion to co-manager and it took about 8 months, when I started I had zero retail experience. Be the best at your job and it'll come.

Buy a clothes shop and manage it.

Just be really good at dealing with problematic customers and have a great attitude inside out towards people. No faking anything. Try to be the best out of them all.
