Interview at Kmart, Advice?

Anyone have experience with Kmart hiring process..?

• I applied for a cashier job online with Kmart (because I know they're hiring and I desperately need a job right now) and usually, at the end of the application, it will ask you to set up an interview (this is what I've heard from many people) but for me, it didn't ask me to schedule an interview. I know I answered most the assessment questions right so I'm not sure why I wasn't given an option to set an interview up but anyway, my question is.. Do you think I still have a chance to be hired even if I wasn't asked to set an interview? Should I just call and speak with the hiring manager tomorrow and tell them that I filled out an app online last week and ask if they're still hiring? Or do you think it is pointless? By the way, I did fill out an application for kmart over 2 years ago, I believe, and I was asked to set up an interview time online back then but I never did show up (honestly, because I started working from home but now I am sick of it and I just want to find a regular job) ..so I'm not sure if that's affecting my chances now (since it is automated anyway) or what. Any advice is appreciated...... I'm planning on going job hunting early tomorrow. Please no nasty or rude comment.. I just want some sincere advice. Thanks alot!

  Yes I applied never got called from them went there and they told me that electronic is on vacation when she come back will call you NO ONE CALL ME LOL Sears is hiring but they pay only 6.95 :(
