Where do Costco buy their gas from?

Who does Costco buy gas from?

  • Answer:

They buy contracts from distributors based on price, delivery time, availability etc so it's possible that one month, or year, COSTCO in your area might buy from Chevron, or Shell, while a COSTCO in another area will buy from a different distributor. For example, the Fry's Grocery store chain here in town gets their gasoline (at least for now, from "Flying J"). I don't think their contracts may be for a year, but who they get it from varies from place to place.
