Fedex customer service vs walmart sales associate.which job?

I work at walmart and its crap they want you to do everything u know the whole nine if u work there. but i got a call for fedex customer service associate has anyone worked that position and does it pay more

I agree with Jeff and Lauren. Fedex definitely takes the time and effort to try to train its employees. (Not everyone 'takes' the training - so there is a fairly large initial dropout rate) A call center job is *stressful*, because you have to think fairly quickly 'on-your-feet', (while sitting on your butt), and be able to sound calm and knowledgeable even when you are searching for some obscure bit of information. And of course, because you get to receive calls from people in all sorts of stress and distress - quite a few of whom will not really perceive you as ''real'' - and therefore feel entitled to say things they never would in public. However, if you learn to handle that stress, its actually a sort of fun job. It doesn't pay terribly well - but you do have the opportunity to move into other, higher-paying, positions within Fedex.

i worked fedex customer service its a call center job but you get a lot of training on fedex and if you ever want to leave that job you can get directly into fedex like i did. the pay and benefits are amazing. fedex will bring you further in life than walmart will. your experience with walmart will help if you take this fedex job because walmart is one of our biggest shippers. you will be trained on all the fedex services and if you stay long enough you will be trained on the shipping software and website. its really good.

One big difference is full benefits from the get go. I'm assuming you are referring to the express shipping division not one of the other divisions.
