What is easy money policy also known as?

I bought Dealfind voucher and the store has now gone out of business, they won't refund my money?

  • I bought 3 vouchers for a massage from dealfind, after struggling to reach the establishment to use my vouchers for months, they went out of business. Dealfind will not give me my money back, they will only credit me dealfind dollars to use on their website which I do not want. Is there any kind of e-commerce bureau that I can contact for help? I will just copy and paste the email that I sent to them so you can have an understanding of the situation: While I do appreciate your offer for the Dealfind dollars and I understand your 30 day return policy, I would prefer to be refunded my money for the following reasons: a) If I had known within 30 days of purchasing these vouchers that this reputable vendor was going to close up shop I would have returned them within that 30 day window. Short of having a crystal ball to look into, there was no way of knowing that this would be the outcome. b) The vouchers were purchsed in March. In May, when I went to redeem them, I was met with the voicemail at Terravita full more often than not but when I did leave a message I never once got a call back from them. I never got to speak wtih anyone from Terravita. Not a single one of my emails were replied to. After playing that game in May, June and July I finally requested a refund from Dealfind in August. I was told by Dealfind and the Terravita website that they were closed for August. In September I was told that this absence was extended into the month of September. Since the vouchers expired on September 17th, I was told that the expiration date was going to be extended. In October and November I again tried to contact Terravita several times assuming that not being able to reach them was just an extension of their bad service. Finally, the last time I called I was told that the number was disconnected. It would just seem unfair to me that my money would be held hostage in the form of Dealfind dollars when as a consumer I have done nothing wrong so please let me know your valid reasons as to why I cannot have my hard earned money back.
