How to EBAY Automatic Bid?

I am trying to figure out how to AUTOMATIC BID on ebay. I know what it does, but I don't know how to get there. I am not sure if I bid regularly or need to install something or what. I have never before placed a bid, so I will need someone to walk me through the steps. I have absolutely NO idea!! Thank you!!

Answer:
In the bidding box simply type in the most you are willing to pay for that item. The system will then bid for you when someone else bids until your limit is reached.
