What are some outsourcing opportunities in a restaurant?

Do you think our current Recession in the U.S. is caused by constant job outsourcing and wars?

  • Is it possible that constant job outsourcing encourages added pull to bringing the U.S. into a recession? If you follow the math, it would seem that each time a job is lossed in the U.S. and outsourced for cheaper labor outside the U.S., the only beneficiary would be shareholders or owners of a company including the country earning new revenue from the U.S. While this occurs, those who may have lost their jobs may attempt to seek other opportunities in the U.S., but as companies drive forward to become more competitive and profitable, more outsourcing is practiced across industries. This reduces opportunities for finding jobs as some people go into foreclosure, bankruptcy, which in turn impact retail stores from profiting, and forcing other industries to begin layoffs. A difficult cycle to break begins to turn sending us all fast into recession and perhaps chaos. What's your opinion?

  • Answer:

Its caused by the interest rate increases that are driven by the deficit. Yes, the war added to the deficit but the Republicans have been unable to balance a budget since Eisenhower.

There are many factors that cause recession. But around every 20 years, there is a recession in the United States.

How do you define a recession? Unemployment is near historical lows.

I AGREE COMPLETELY. i have seen many many higher paying jobs go out to other countries and the so called replacement or newly created jobs as stated by our media etc are all lower paying . the people are barely able to get by. i thank you for your question.

No. It is a reaction to the previous overexuberance in the housing market. This was exacerbated by the popularity of mortgage-securitized debt obligations, when the underlying mortgages were not sound. The jobs that are being outsourced are typically low wage jobs, which would not be particularly attractive to American workers in any case.

Yes, other issues as well.

well it depends what you mean by a recession and if current economy is actualy in one. but problem has been caused by many factors and to try to balme just one would be silly . agree all the recent plant closures over the years haven't helped things here .or job market

R.S.

No. Wars actually create jobs. The current slowdown is due to a busted housing bubble and the aftermath of greed in the mortgage sector.
