Does anyone have any good fundraiser ideas for a not for profit organization?

There are hundreds of great ways to fundraise out there at all sorts of levels. Sales: Many companies offer products for Non-profits to sell and received a profit from. This includes things like chocolate bars, popcorn ect ofcourse but home sales companies like Tupperware and Avon offer fundraising opportunities. Community Events: These events act as a two for one deal. Higher profile they can be used to promote your organisation. These include things like garage sales, auctions (silent auctions) , galas or concerts. The key to their success is advertising - the more people who know the better. Sponsored Events: Approach your local theater and have them put on an extra show for your group. Promise them that you will promote the showing. You can also approach your local swinning pool, skating rink or other location to host an event for you. Collection Events: Collect pennies, coins or cans from your members or the community at large. Or offer a service - next Saturday we will pick up all your recycled good for a donation. This is a good one to link with a garage sale - offer to pick up people old stuff for a donation and then sell it at your garage sale. I hope this gives you a few ideas.
