How did those people become super rich?

  • I see the rich people dinning in expensive restaurants, live in luxerious houses, driving mercedes. I want to ask them, how did your become so super rich? I want to know the "how". I don't think simply "working hard" can make me that rich. I see many people work so hard that it even threatens their health, but most of them get old and die even before reaching the 1/50 of the richness of the above people. There must be something. Is becoming rich confined to a certain careers, specially to the "business" sector, like real estates, being the head of the grocery store, owner of the firm, etc.? What careers that make them super rich? And do you think the manufacturing career is in fact, does not make much money and does not make the people become super rich? Please tell me.

    Much extreme wealth was inherited. There aren't a lot of self made people anymore but it does happen. Good investments help but knowing how to invest without being schemed or taken takes wisdom that most ordinary people just don't have. Life is so full of trickery. If you find out, let me in on it.

Some of the reasons. Successful people usually take risks. Henry Ford (started the Ford Motor Company) filed bankruptcy 3 times before hitting it good. Most people are too afraid of the "what ifs" to take any actual risks. Successful people put learning high on their priorities list. They get good educations (even if it means going into debt) they continue to spend money to better themselves for their entire lives. But, keep in mind, some of the people you are looking at as "wealthy and successful" aren't. They are in debt up to their eyebrows in order to eat at the fancy restaurants, buy the fancy clothes and cars. A lot of these people are one major illness or job loss away from bankruptcy, but you would never know it to look at them. When I was a kid, from a very small town, there was one family whom seemed to be rich and have it all. Their 3 daughters all got Mustangs at 16, mommy & daddy paid 100% for their college education, the girls and parents all wore brand name clothes & shoes, and went to New York for shopping sprees. Well about 5 years after I graduated with their oldest daughter, my sister called me at work to tell me what was going on in the family. It seems a repo man had come to the school and took the baby's car, all 3 cars were repo'd that week. The college kicked the two oldest girls out because of non-payment. And the family house and cars were sold at auction to pay their creditors. Just because they drive nice cars and spend a lot of money does not mean they are happy. Learn to live with less BUT learn to search for happiness.

Maybe they are the exact opposite of a very lazy peson and they hate doing nothing. Getting rich does not only depends on the careers. They are just too good in multiplying their time to those very competent individuals.
