Is the arrow on the FedEx truck intentional?

Has anyone ever noticed that there is an "arrow" between the "e" and the "x" in FEDEX?

  • Next time you see a FedEx truck, check it out!! This was pointed out to me, today at work. I never knew this, but we do learn something new every day! The truck is white, with blue and red letters, but you can't really miss it!

  • Answer:

Lucky26: What you are seeing is purely co-incidental when an upper case "E" is placed next to a lower case "X". and not any attempt by FedEx to include an arrow in their corporate logo. Kyle H. is completely incorrect . The "Blue" letter you referred to is by FedEx corporate specifications actually dark Purple. The other color in the logo will indicate which division within the corporation is involved IE: Red = Freight, Orange = Express, Green = Ground, Blue = Critial Care, etc. 20 Year FedEx employee.

As you said, you can't miss it. Everyone with eyes can see the arrow between FED (short for Federal) and the EX (short for express) But don't feel bad. Took this guy http://vnboards.ign.com/ac_friends/b5258/83716463/p4 two years to notice it, and then only because it was pointed out.
