Can someone explain what is a logical drive?

Can someone explain why people get flustered because i drive with my high beams on?

  • I drive an F450. I drive home home at night from work and I find it more convenient and easier to keep my high beams on the whole drive at night and people have been getting annoyed by this. I feel that IF THEY DON'T LIKE IT, then pull off the side of the friken road! Or look to the opposite side of where i'm coming from. -HONESTLY!!! I've don't think driving with hgih beams at night is that big of a deal.... It helps me be safe and protects my truck from any harm! Could someone explain to me what you think of when someone has high beams on?

  • Answer:

Do you like it when bright lights are shined in your face? It's common courtesy to dim your lights when there is oncoming traffic. You are also legally obligated to do so. I'm guessing you think this is a funny post (it's not) and you don't really think it's ok to do this

i'll shine a flashlight in your eyes...its amazing what happens when YOU cant see

Because you're being inconsiderate and blinding everyone around you who is trying to be a considerate and safe driver. You are only making you and your truck more of a liability because when drivers cannot see at all they are more likely to crash and thus you are more likely to get into an accident and YOU're the one who will be the cause of it. You don't need to see every single inch miles ahead of you to be a safe night driver. If you do, then stop driving at night.

Well, you can look for both headlamps to get smashed out someday when you refuse to 'dim' your high beams and the other driver turns around, follows you home and dares you to stop him as he kicks them to tiny pieces.

When you meet that cop some night soon tell him to just pull off the friken road or look to the opposite side from where you're coming. Bet you won't have the cohones to tell him. But I guarantee he'll have no problem handing you a ticket for reckless driving. What I think I can't print or I'd be in violation of Y/A community standards.

You might be having a hard time seeing with your low beams on because your headlight lenses are fogged up.This is caused by U.V. rays, road debris and heat. There are a number of places that will clear them up for you at a fraction of the cost of new lenses.Up to 75% of light can be lost due to foggy lenses.See if your lenses are foggy, and if so,get them cleared up.

I hate people like you, your not driving safely because you are putting other drivers in harms way and it doesn't protect your truck either. You are going to get into a crash soon my friend, if you keep doing this.

It does NOT make you safer. It blinds oncoming drivers. Now, you might not mind my bike hitting the front of your tank, but I'm pretty darned sure you wouldn't want to meet me after coming through your windshield. Just FYI, the limit of 150 feet was set in 1955, long long before quartz halogen lights. Your newer vehicle has much brighter low beams than cars had for highs back then. http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/rsa/html/XXI/265/265-114.htm I'm sure there's something similar in your state.

Firecracker .

wooooowwww...honestly, i would expect this to be common sense like red means stop and green means go... high beams WILL cause glare. and since you drive a tall truck, it just makes it even worse. when people can't see, they can drive off the road or even worse, they can be drawn to the light causing a head on collision with your truck. no highbeams is not safer. only use them when you don't see any oncoming cars. also don't use them when your behind another car. trust me it makes driving really hard for the drivers ahead of you.

Let's see.....you're either a troll or the biggest retard who knows how to log on to a computer. Oh, wait, there's another option. You could be a troll who IS a big retard. Yeah, that's probably it. Yes, the more I think about it that's definitely the deal. Nice try.
