Best car for drift racing?

  • What is the best car available on the market for drift racing? I know that it needs to be a rear- wheel drive and has to have a front engine.

i have seen people in drift events using import card domestics brand new cars and classics so it depends on personal preference of car. It must be 1. rear wheel drive front engine which u already know 2. lots of low end torque u are actually drift racing? that is so cool i am so jealous i can't even drive yet only14 can't wait to get a car i want a junker car like an beat up camaro or monte carlo so i can fix it up and take it to a dragway.

Depends on your budget. Most professional drift racers modify their cars very extensively, but the car they start with is still very important. Here's some good ones: -1987-1993 Mustang Fox Body 5.0 (cheap, light, RWD, have lots of torque, easy to modify) -Just about any light, turbocharged Japanese car with an FR configuration.
