When Can You Take Driver's Ed. In Canada...?

  • Helloooo ... Szia .... Konnichiwa... Bonjour .... WHATEVER. So, I'm wondering.. When can you take driver's ed. ? I live in Hamilton, Ontario.. And I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to take it until 16, but even then, you wouldn't be allowed to drive until 17. A bunch of videos online [highschool-tips- videos].. The people mentioned, you should take D.E. as soon as possible.. To avoid walking home, biking home, or riding a bus. [Not a big deal, I'm just wondering~] But, by the time I get the chance to take it, I'd already be in the middle of grade 11, if not out of school already.. So when can you take it? I mean, I've already read the entire driver's handbook or whatever its called, with all the signs and driving rules in it.. I did a couple months ago. I'm 13. xD And my mom lets me steer for her 75% of the time. = P So can you take it when you're 16, or younger? .. Since its just a written test, no? When and if you answer, thanks. = P

You can get your G1 when you're 16. Once you have your G1, you can go to driving school. Just look up "driving schools in Hamilton" on google. There are lots of them.

you have to be 16 to take G1 test, then u r expected to take "beginners driving courses".. and u have to be 17 to take G2 test
