How can you get off road maps for a gps?

i was looking at getting a new gps and was wondering how and if it was possiabe to get off road maps for 4wd? i have seen on some forum about using a sd card for the gps, how does this work and what site do i get them from? thanks

you should check developer website there should be a tutorial of how you can add new maps. and you can download or buy off-road maps from internet etc
