Online Traffic School?

I got a traffic ticket in California... paid the fine + traffic school admin fee online. Now what?

• Do I have to wait for the court to give me the ok to go to traffic school, or can I just start now and take an online traffic school course???

  You should be able to take the online course as soon as you pay the school fees. You should call the courthouse though, just to be safe. I used to live in CA, and on the many wonderful occasions that i got to take traffic school, i had to go in person for the day. My county (rather my courthouse) didn't allow people to do online traffic school unless they absolutely had too. All the times that i had to sit in traffic court for me or someone else, i can only remember two people getting to take online school. Between me and my friends, traffic court was a one a month trip. If you do decide to just take the online course, just make sure that you have everything (receipts, proof of passing ect......) when you go to court to show that you took the course. Just because the computer says the results are automatically sent in, doesn't mean that they are....
