you need proof of address of you living in south carolina. if you have had your ny driver's license taken away, work on getting that back. maybe you need driver's lessons or pay your fines or something.

You must be a resident of the state in which you apply for a permit.Proof of residency can be a recent utility bill.
You have to go there and have some proof.

I live in New York. I think you can. You just need to ask your drive's insturance where to go to get a permit in south carolina

You sure can.... all you have to do is move. Spend 6 months in the state and you can apply for your permit. Than when you move back to New York you can surrender it and apply for one from New York. Possession of two permits is like possession of two drivers license ---- illegal!

more details pls why do want this? If your looking for an easy test forget it. driving is to important to play with. your going to be using somethig that can or hurt if not used properly. May be the truth hurts..
