Is a suspension lift or a body lift better for a Silverado?

What do you need to do for a lift on a silverado?

I want about 6 to 8 in total lift on my 1995 silverado. I was wandering if i bought a 6 in suspension lift if i had to get extended brake lines or bumper relocater kits. Do you need to do that for a body lift? I also want to know what is the best options meaning body kit + suspension lift or just Suspension?

body lift requires a few parts like for the steering column and pitman/idler arms.. its not all that simple i would call skyjacker. they are a leading brand so they will be expensive, find out what they offer in their kits and prices and then shop around for the best deal once you have a list of required parts. getting a kit with all parts included would be ideal. there is an off road center near me, you can try to look them up for info...
