How do I repair small scratch on windshield made by wiper end?

    Generally, if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail it is too deep to buff out. Buffing a windshield is like sanding a piece of wood except it takes MUCH longer to see noticeable results. When buffing a windshield, you are actually removing glass surface. It is done with a damp felt wheel and a very fine buffing compound like jewelers rouge. Most wiper marks are too deep to be removed so the best option may be to replace the windshield.

take it to a glass shop. 30-60$ to repair. if you have a crack, clear fingernail polish will stop it from cracking any further too.

most auto parts stores carry a repair kit for small damage to windshields. You can also special order polishing kits from www.eastwood.com and right now they have a 15% discount. Good Luck,

it sounds impossible but if it is not to deep you can actually wet sand a scratch out with very fine grit sand paper

most insurance companies have glass repair places fix dings on windshields for free!! it keeps them from breaking all together
