How to pass your driving test?

How many times did it take you to pass your driving test?

  • I just failed my 4th test (Ive been so close, like 3 minors but 1 major for every test), but when I went to book a 5th I found the price has gone up from £48.50 to £56.50, so I think I really need to put a limit on this. A friend of mine wont tell people how many times she took to pass and I really dont want to end up like her, so at what number of attempts would you refuse to tell people how long it took you to pass. My driving instructor told me to look for a cancelation but the next test I can get is like the 24th of June and I really dont want to wait that long. Any tips on finding cancelations?

  • Answer:

I've had 5 tests and still haven't passed! So I'm having a break from the stress now. Just keep double checking the website (or the telephone thing) for cancellations as they come up quick but are taken quickly too!

I passed second time and i am a really reckless driver...overtaking when ever possible handbrake turns, skidding everywhere, and lots of speeding. My mate passed 4th time and he is a boring driver..... Considering i get the micky taken for failing my first try......you better pass this time good luck

My friend pass on his 7th test so your are not too bad. luckyly I passed on my first try, i was calm during the test because i already set my mind on failing the driving test. reverse phsycology they say. expecting to pass a driving test only makes you more nervous and loose your concentration. try setting your mind to failing can make you relax, it worked on me maybe it will work on you. one more thing try make sure you choose a good test centre, i took mine on Wallington, London there are no bus lanes, streets are not busy and few round abouts. you can ask friends who pass where they took their exam.

It took me 3 attempts to pass mine, I could not even pass in the UK, I had to join the air force and go to Germany and pass there. You need to give yourself a course in driving - not just lessons. I found that it was best to buy a car, then approach a friend who drove professionally to teach me to drive in my own car. He taught me over a period of about 5-6 weeks, and he was an air force driver that drove VIPs but taught driving in his spare time. He charged of course, but I passed straight away when I did my test. It's all about confidence and practise. These driving instructors here are a rip off, try approaching a friend to takle you driving that you know is patient and a very good driver. GOOD LUCK....
