How do I park a car in a parking lot?

How do you remember where you park your car in a huge parking lot with no signs for sections?

  • When you park in a large parking lot, how do you remember where you park your car, especially if there are no signs to mark off sections of the parking lot?

  • Answer:

    When you get out of your car, look at the exit you will eventually use. In your mind's eye, draw a line between that exit and your car. Then turn in the opposite direction and look for a landmark that is on a continuation of that imaginary line. That landmark is what you will head towards when you leave the mall. If it really is huge, look at the second hand on your watch when you leave the car. Look at it again when you arrive at the exit. These things will tell you in which direction to walk, and for how long.

luckily...I have one of the newer cars with the "locater button" on the keychain...you push it and the horn blows and headlights flash..I just keep pushing it and follow the noise..i have been lead astray once or twice by other people's locator buttons and car alarms though.
