How can i get my license without getting scared?

• hi guys, i want to get my license but i am so scared to drive i have had my learners for over 8 years now and still don't have my license because i am too scared to drive but the thing is i was driving all the time every time i got a chance to i would drive i even had my own car and i was doing a few lesson with a driving instructor so i could go for my license but then me and my partner moved to the city with the kids and i was still driving around but then my learners expired and i didn't get it renewed when i finally decided to the transport department told me i had left it way to long and had to sit my learners again so i left it for ages and when i was finally ready to sit it again i got every question right then the lady told me there was absolutely no reason for me to take that test again so now i have my learners again since september last year and i have driven a couple of times and before i even start driving i get nerves i don't know if it's because it a new car and just not use to it but it is a lot more bulky then the last the last car was big but not as bulky and now i really refuse to drive i might drive to the shop which is only down the road but to drive anywhere else scares the hell out of me some of my friends don't have a license either but they are a lot younger and i don't have an excuse besides i'm scared because i am over 25 and don't need to work my hours up. if i do drive after i finish im always putting myself down how i didn't this properly or anything really i have never had an accident so i don't know why i am so terrified i know people that are 11 years yonder then me and they have their license i just don't know how to drive without thinking im going to do something wrong i really,really try not too but i just do so someone please help me stop being so scared. not having my license really put me down not only some days but most days.
