Parallel parking tips?

Any tips on how I can get better on parallel parking?

  • I'm taking my road test in two weeks and I'm nervous. Anyone have any tips for my road test, especially on parallel parking! THANKS.

  • Answer:

use some 4 orange cones and 2 lightweight broomsticks. set 2 cones up about a cars width from the curb at about 20 feet apart. set the next 2 cones 3 feet from the curbs in line with the other two. put the broomsticks in the second set of cones. the outside cones will mark the outer corners of the cars your parking between whereas the broomsticks will be their bumpers. if all else fail just drive the the dmv office and see if you can practice during the evening hours there.

Yes easy. 1-2-1. 1 turn left when level with car. 2 turns right when at 45degrees, 1 turn left at the end. http://www.passfaster.org
