Is there a lot of traffic on the fourth of july?

Is there a large parking lot with little traffic to learn how to drive in Las Vegas?

i would suggest a high school parking lot (on the weekends) or perhaps a large church lot

You can't learn to drive in a parking lot. You have to be on the road, out in the traffic. Why not find a road that isn't heavily traveled and start there.

it is a good idea to learn in a parking lot, it doesn't help much on the road though. drive on the road at light traffic times

Why don't you go out into the desert?

Take I-15 about 40 miles south towards Los Angeles. On the border of Ca./Nv the casino on the right side as you go south went out of business. It's been vacant now for quite a while. You may be able to learn there. I don't know for sure because I drive by and don't stop, but it's a huge parking lot and you would be able to have some fun as long as security didn't stop you.
