What's the driving age in PA?

If I have a PA driver's license and am under 18 years of age, what are the laws of driving out-of-state?

  • I would specifically like to know if you are allowed to drive out-of-state at all, or if you are just required to have someone over 21 years of age with you.

  • Answer:

If you have a legal driving permit there are no restrictions that I know of in any state.

If you have a regular driver's license, then it will be recognized as such by the rest of the states. Its called 'reciprocity'. You wont need anyone else with you while you operate your motor vehicle.
