What Is Hot Route In Madden?

I have two options. Which route should I choose to get to college?

  • I'm 18. I'm a freshman at my university. Unlike most of the people at my high school, I started driving late. I got my license this fall in September. That means I've had it for about a month. I got into an accident this week when someone rear ended me. This happened while I was trying to slow down so I didn't hit the car in front of me, I guess I slowed down too much because the car behind me rear ended me. According to the cop, it wasn't my fault. Anyways, person A and person B are thinking differently. Person A thinks I should take the highway on my route to college and person B thinks I should take the non-highway route there. (The one with the street lights, traffic lights, and intersections). Which route is the best for me? Which one is the safest? They both take the same time getting to my destination. Also, I live in Michigan so that means it will get snowy in the winter and everyone is going to drive very very slow. So I came up with a list of pros and cons for using the highway route and the non highway route. HIGHWAY ROUTE. pros: it's one straight route and there is no stopping for red lights, (notice how I got reared ended when there was stopping involved at the red light and the person behind me didn't stop in time), and there is less likely to be an accident on the highway because from driver's education class I learned that most accidents happen on intersections. cons: when it's snowy and people are going at 60mph or above, there is a chance that the driver behind, beside, or in front of me can skid and hit me, also, when you're on the highway and you do get into an accident or have to stop because there is an engine problem, it's hard to tell the tow truck people or your family where you are. (We stopped on the highway because of an engine problem and trust me, it was so hard describing our location, I was fortunate to have a navigator)., and also there is a lot of big trucks on the highway, if a truck comes at you could with high speed, could you be dead while it's skidding in the Michigan snow, and it's the same with cars, when crashes do happen on the highway, the cars are coming faster than on the non-highway route and couldn't that cause more damage than a crash on the intersection? NONHIGHWAY ROUTE pros: if crashes happen they'll happen in lower speed than highway speed that means less damage to the car and more likely I will stay alive, if I my engine has problems and it involves going somewhere stopping and getting a tow truck, I could easily find a restaurant or a gas station parking lot to stop at and it will be easier telling my parents and the tow truck where I am. cons: like I said before accidents happen at intersections more than highways, people may rear end me more, or I may rear end someone else, and the more often it happens, the more my insurance will increase, also during the winter people are going to drive very slow because of the snow. (You can add your own list of pros and cons; there maybe more). So which route should I choose? Highway or the nonhighway route? If it makes a difference I'm a 5 feet female (which means trouble seeing things far on the ground), and I'm Asian (but my eyes don't look the ones in my avatar, I actually have big eyes, I'm not oriental though). Thank you so much for your judgement and responses on helping me decide.

Forget what A and B said, and in fact reject any answer here. Do the route you are most comfortable with.

Short is not a problem -- when I was a kid I know a dwarf, about 3" - 3'6", who drove a regular car. You can use seat booster and extend your pedals. The non-highway route is the more hazardous. The vast majority of accidents are in interesections. While highways may be faster, everyone is going the same direction. What counts is the speed difference. In a collision is head on or sideways so the speed difference is greater and thus greater damage/injuries. Locating a spot on a highway is trivial -- every 528 feet there is a mile marker. I like the streets because they are more interesting.

It was your right to be on that road - person A has no standing in your decision. The highway route is going to be the best (safest as well as fastest) in good weather. I stick to surface roads - roads in town - when there is snow.
