Here's a website with a chart... http://www.infant-car-seats.com/states/car-seats-laws-Texas.html I just typed "car seat law Texas" into Yahoo search to find it. It looks like 4 years old or 36 inches and then a booster seat for children 4-8 or under 80 lbs. Back seat of course.
