What is the best Cold Air Intake for a 5.3 Silverado?

2004 silverado cold air intake question.?

• there are so many different cold air intake systems and i want to know if anyone knows which one gives the best MPG increase, i dont care about HP. also trying to stay on the cheap, but if the MPG gain is good then money is no problem.

  Every company makes its claims but I have used one and some exhaust on a truck like yours and saw no increase. I ended up putting all the stock stuff back on. The cold air intake roared and the exhaust was magnaflow and all it was noisy. Your best bet is to save your money . I spend almost $500. and I wish I just had the money back. Do what you want but don't expect much . No matter what you read or what somebody tells ya.................UJN
