Vauxhall cavalier running problem.

Vauxhall Corsa Problem?

  • Hi! I have a Vauxhall Corsa Club (2000) x10xe. I have a problem with the engine temperature. When I first start the car everything runs normal, but after about 10 mins the engine gets hot (more than usual). In the meantime the in car heating does not work, once the engine temperature reaches about 100 it seems as though everything comes back to life. The engine returns to normal running temperature and all of a sudden heat returns to the ventilation system in the car! Is this a thermostat problem? Thanks Mike

  • Answer:

Hi Your first port of call would be to replace the thermostat & thoroughly bleed the cooling system. Very best regards Geordie
