What is the best headlight replacement for a nissan sentra?

Nissan sentra 1992, busted headlight!?

  • my car was bashed on the corner and it cracked my right headlight. it still fits in the spot but the light is out. would i have to replace the entire light, and can i do this myself? or is it a simple bulb replacement....

  • Answer:

its always a good idea to replace damaged parts. as to if u should fix it yourself, probably not its always best to habe it done by a pro, labor probably wouldnt be that much and it will take them no time at all to fix the headlight, and if u dont have enough money for a pro get someone who knows exactly what theyre doing for the desired result.

THE ACTUAL HEADLIGHT BULB ON YOUR CAR IS A SMALL BULB THAT IS INSERTED INTO THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY FROM THE BACK SIDE IT IS QUITE EASY TO REPLACE BY TURNING IT AND PULLING IT OUT, THEN DISCONNECTING THE WIRING PIGTAIL DO NOT TOUCH THE NEW BULB WITH YOUF FINGERS AS BODY OIL WILL GET ON THE GLASS PART AND WILL CAUSE THE NEW BULB TO BURN OUT THE "HEADLIGHT" AS YOU CALLED IT IS A HOUSING ASSY THAT IS PRETTY EXPENSIVE AS LONG AS IT IS NOT LEAKING WATER INSIDE IT SHOULD BE OK TILL YOU CAN GET A REPLACEMENT AND STOP HITTING THINGS
