How do I repair dead hard drives?

When your car is delivered by a repair service and the person who drives the car changes the radio station?

  • to vile music, do you tell them not to do it again. I had my car delivered by a black woman from an auto body shop. I didn't even have the radio turned on. She turned on the radio which was perfectly alright, but she put on a rap station with the most vile shitt that passes for music that I've ever heard. I Immediately changed the station when I got in the car. But should I have told her that I didn't appreciate that she put that jungle boogy on?

  • Answer:

Yes sir bubba...get that black woman told...I'm sure that was a very traumatic experience for you.

Many shop managers will address a complaint like that in a very respectful fashion if you do the same. Explain to the manager that you didn't appreciate the radio station being changed to a genre of music that you find offensive. If he/she asks what station, just tell them it doesn't matter what the station was, but the music had lyrics that you found offensive and that may happen again to another customer. The response, if the manager is worth their salt, will be to tell the technician to make sure that the vehicle is returned to the customer in the same condition it was received, to include puting the radio back on one of their preprogramed radio stations. I've found if you dont' get into detail and just voice your concern with the manager about a technician doing something that would be just considered "rude", they will address it to the offending employee.

Well not really. I am careful as to where I take my car. Usually I perform the work myself. I will take the car to Costco or somewhere like that to have my tires, rotated, balanced etc.. I change my own oil. Anything I can't change myself I have a mobile mechanic. If they are listening to Gangsta Rap, I wouldn't take my car there

You are making a big fuss over nothing. How long does it take to change the radio station to the music you prefer,I am surprised you even thought it was worth yelling Y/A about it. Then you answer the first person to reply to your question by insulting them. You are a waste of space!!

You can complain if you want to but it probably won't do much good.If the shop owner says something to the employee they'll probably charge him with racism.Just be thankful that the shop was willing to deliver your car and that's all she did.

most mechanics have been told..not to move the seats, mirrors or change the radio stations. that said, you need to get a life if this is so traumatic for you to come here looking for what to do.
