Is it possible to fit these wheels on my car?

  • I have a 2009 hyundai elantra gls and it's got factory 15" steel wheels with hubcaps. I want to replace those with these 16" wheels from the elantra SE. However ebay tells me that they won't fit my vehicle. why would this be? Will they fit or is there something that can be done so that they will fit? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hyundai-Elantra-2007-2009-16-inch-COMPATABLE-Wheel-Ri-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1e60219957QQitemZ130461833559QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

  • Answer:

Hi, According to our alloy wheel fitment guide, Hyundai Elantra has a single application. So those wheels should fit your car. Technical Specs for Hyunda Elantra: rim size:5.5x15" Bolt pattern:4x114.3 offset:35-50.

They will fit and it says they will fit 2007, 2008, and 2009. Cars that are the same make but different trim levels will fit all the same stuff.

The first fact is that your tires may be a four bolt system and the may be a five besides that it's a fact of clearance within the wheel wells
