Do drivers license points transfer from NJ to PA?
-
I am moving from NJ to PA, I have some points on my NJ Drivers license, when I get my PA drivers license will the points transfer over or will I start clean? Thanks!

Answer:
AFAIK, PA puts out of state offenses on your record, but doesn't assess points for them. But who knows what happens if you _transfer_ a license. Conversely, NJ always assesses two points for out of state offenses if they're reported to NJ, even if the offense would result in more than two points in NJ (I think the only exception is drunken driving).
